Good evening everyone!

The server has wiped! We have some small changes coming in. Not a huge amount, but just something to give you a little taster of what’s to come in the server overhaul.

Custom Map

Looking back to the events with custom monuments where the whole server would lag out/ DC when a player came near, we have decided to run with a vanilla map for the coming 2 weeks. Do not worry, the latest Rust updates (ringroad most importantly, map wise) will be there!
This will give us extra time to ensure the Rust Editor is aligned with the new assets available in-game. For you, our dear player base of regulars, new players and everyone in between, this means a couple of monuments won’t be available for the next 2 weeks. These are listed below:

• The Admin Center: home to custom shops, betting machines, purchasable houses and a general place to lay back).
• Raid Island: For those who feel the constant need to destroy.
• The Sewers: In case you think vanilla game monuments are easy.
• The Car Park: A car park. With loot.
• The Rocket Warehouse: You are all invited to Tarzan’s birthday party if you can find your way up the silo.

Please know that this decision was not an easy one to make, but we hope you understand our reasoning behind it. All other goodies that you are used to from CobaltCove will still be present.

Server Changes

The coming months will completely reshape the way the server is designed, both from a player and an admin perspective. To make sure we don’t make all the changes at once, here are the changes we will implement for this wipe:

– The levels have been reduced to give less XP per hit. This isn’t going to work exactly how I want it just yet. It’s going to take a lot of tweaking to get right. Once it’s all done I’ll explain a bit more why the change was made, but just know, more changes will come for the levels. I hope you’ll all enjoy what I’ve got in store for you.
– Item stack size has been reduced based on feedback. This is also a part of the level changes.“`
